School is in Session

Harper officially likes school! He told me so on Friday morning. He's been MUCH better about going... he still clings to me and begs me not to go, but he's not crying or sobbing for 20 minutes before we leave the house.

He's started talking about the kids in the class and his teachers. I think this is an excellent sign.

Also, I laid him down the other night and he was in bed telling stories to his stuffed animals and pretending. He does this every night, but usually he talks about trains. This night I heard him having a 'conversation' with someone from school. This is, verbatum, what I heard:

"'Do you want to have dinner with me?' said Harper.
'Sure!'
'At my house?' said Harper.
'Okay!'"

So cute!
