When H woke up Sunday morning, he asked, 'Is it Halloween Day, yet?'
When I put him to bed that night, he said, 'The sun is gone.' I said, 'It sure is. It went to bed, too.' He asked, 'Did it go see it's mommy?' I said, 'I'm sure it did.' 'Where does it's mommy live?' I just said, 'The other side of the world.'
That seemed to be acceptable.
